Foundations of Jewish Mysticism

In this class, we will look at the origins and foundations of Jewish mysticism. This class will offer: an overview of the origins of Kabbalah brief coverage of Judaism as a religion, as well as its tribal roots why Kabbalah exists, its function to Jewish people, and who practices within Judaism We will review basic Kabbalistic concepts, such as the Tree of Life and the Hebrew alphabet's importance. We will take a look at how Kabbalah can be used in the occult, and, in future classes in this series, expand on ways Kabbalistic practice can enhance meditation and magic.
